History
Founded in 1998, Sistema Educativo Sancti Spiritus has had a long history of growth & development since its origins.
Sancti Spíritus is a Private Bilingual Educational Institution located in Esparza, Puntarenas. The Study Center has three sections: Preschool (Nursery, Prekinder, Kindergarten and Preparatory), Primary and Secondary school.
The Institution has an extraordinary group of educators, whose vocation as teachers moves them to always seek a close relationship with the boys that allows them to fully understand their abilities and their particular needs.

In preschool we handle 2 school hours, the regular schedule from Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 12:00 noon and the extended schedule from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm. Additionally, for all preschool levels, childcare is offered until 5:00 pm for an additional amount.
In primary and secondary school, the hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm. In eleventh year, 1 day a week leaves at 5:00 pm.
In preschool they receive 50% of academic lessons in English and the remaining 50% in Spanish, as well as special subjects like: Music, Healthy Kids Program, Swimming, Values, Dance and Robotics. *
* Robotics is only for primary and elementary school.
In Primary School they receive the entire regular MEP program and also receive the same number of subjects in English. Science, Social Studies, Mathematics, Cambridge English Program are some of the examples. In addition, in the second cycle they incorporate the Portuguese language.
In High School they continue the Portuguese and English language program and receive physics, chemistry and biology from seventh grade. They use a virtual platform in English from Science Bits.
Preschool and elementary students incorporate swimming into their curriculum. If any high school student wanted to take swimming she would have to do it after class at a club. The swimming club after school hours has an additional cost.
The Institution has a cafeteria that offers food service.
In Preschool in extended hours a package with lunch and two snacks is offered.
All groups from Nursery to Third Grade have an assistant to accompany the educational process of the students.
